About Bill:
Bill, who has been motorcycling since High School, ("a long time
ago" he says), is an active, fun-loving Rotarian in the
Rotary Club of Augusta, ME.
He is a Past President, recipient of the HeartBeat of Rotary Award, a
Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary Foundation Benefactor & Sustaining Member of the
Rotary Foundation. Bill will serve as Assistant Governor (District
7790) in 2003-2004 for DG Gary Walker. He is a long time supporter of Bob
Mutchler's PolioPlus Awareness Rides and is a member of Rotary's
International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians, American Motorcyclists
Association, and the Honda ST1100 Owners' Club. Bill has
contributed considerable effort on behalf of the
New England Ride for Kids
in support of the
Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the US.
Bill has a background in Holistic Health, is a Paramedic, and works as the
Director of Community Relations for
Delta Ambulance

About Jon:
Jon is a member of the
Rotary Club of Reno Sunrise, Reno,
NV. He is a past treasurer, secretary, and will be the president
for 2003-2004. Jon is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a Rotary
Foundation Benefactor. At the District level, he is the Orientation
Chair for the D5190 Rotary Youth Exchange Committee. Jon's
international Rotary service includes participating in PolioPlus National
Immunization days in Accra, Ghana (November 2000) and a Rotary
Volunteer in Ho, Ghana working with a Rotary Foundation 3-H
Clean Water Grant (November 2002).
Jon's wife Martha, also a Reno Sunrise Rotarian, has been serving as
the D5190 Polio Eradication Chair since 2001.
Jon is a retired university librarian and small
business owner. Currently he occupies his time as a community
volunteer working as a civilian police volunteer for a Kid's to Senior's
Korner (a multi-agency social services outreach program). He is one of
the founding board members of
Motorcyclists for Awareness of Children's Health (MACH). A former
long distance bicycle rider, Jon enjoys riding his 1959 Harley Servi-Car (a
former "meter-maid" police unit). He also owns a 1964 Ford Galaxie, ex
Sparks, NV police car.
About Walter:
Walter is a member of the
Rotary Club of
Sacramento Point West, Sacramento, CA. He has served as the newsletter
editor, and has been on numerous Rotary Committees. Professionally he
is a Senior Advisor for Sperry Van Ness, a commercial investment real firm.
Walter is a volunteer pilot and Board member of Airlifeline.
He is also a volunteer fire fighter, volunteers with Junior Achievement, and
a HOST reading volunteer. Walter is an elected county Airport
Director.
